The Cutty Sark

For all those that don't know what it is, the Cutty Sark is a 19th Century Boat based Greenwich. It was on fire today and was under restoration so many parts were unharmed as they were somewhere else at the time. I had never heard of the boat either until this morning when it was on the Radio.

Not many people seem to know what it is so this shows that school history is good at missing out worthless bits of history like this boat. I don't know why its famous. Jim at work seemed annoyed about it as its a loss in British Hertitage or something. Hes 55 and loves that sort of thing, he loves classical music so must be into history too. Maybe he was fine about it, the convosation last like 2 minutes.

So there you go, you've learnt something new today!!
